I attended a lecture on women and Surrealism in Brooklyn, and was happily surprised when scarcely known artists like Toyen were mentioned! Also, works that I had never seen before were brought to my attention. For example, lovely gloves designed by Meret Oppenheim.

great find!even if i’m not so sure about the model - this was published in Vu magazine in 1930,and Man Ray was still with Lee then - he was introduced to Meret few years later…
